Rodem Missionary Counseling Center
로뎀 선교사 상담소는 상담을 통해 선교사와 선교사 자녀들이 겪고 있는 문제들을 들어주고 전문적인 도움을 제공하기 위해 설립되었습니다. 상담사들은 모두 타문화권 선교 경험이 있으며 상담 교육 기관에서 학위나 훈련을 받은 전문인들이기에 누구보다도 선교사와 그 자녀들이 겪고 있는 문제들을 이해하고 실제적인 도움을 줄 수 있습니다. 또한 다양한 매체를 통한 온라인 상담이기에 익명성과 비밀이 보장되며, 장소와 시간에 구애를 받지 않음으로 선교사와 그 자녀들이 언제라도 자신들의 이야기를 나눌 수 있고 필요한 도움을 받을 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다.
The Rodem Missionary Counseling Center was established to listen to problems facing missionaries and missionary children and to provide them professional assistance through counseling. All of the counselors have experience in cross-cultural missions, and they are professionals who have received degrees or training in counseling educational institutions, so they can listen to the problems that missionaries and their children are experiencing and give practical help. In addition, the Rodem Missionary Counseling Center guarantees anonymity and confidentiality. The cyber counseling provides an opportunity for missionaries and their children to share their stories at any time and get the help they need, as they are not restricted by time and place.

선교사의 고민을 마땅히 털어놓을 곳도 없고, 털어놓기도 쉽지 않습니다. 선교지의 형평상 적절한 상담소가 마련되어 있는 경우가 적습니다.선교사의 신분상 일반 상담소를 찾는 것이 꺼려지기도 합니다. 이런 문제로 상담소를 찾는 것이 옳은지 망설여지기도 합니다. 무엇보다 좁은 선교사 사회에서 개인적인 혹은 공동체의 문제가 세상에 공개될까 염려 됩니다.
로뎀 사이버 상담실은 선교사와 선교사 자녀들이 하고 싶은 말을 언제든지 어디에서든지 마음껏 이야기할 수 있는 공간입니다.
숨을 쉴 수 없을 만큼 힘든 순간, 숨통을 트이게 하는 어떤 구멍이라도 있으면 조금은 더 버틸 수 있습니다. 어떤 일은 누군가에게 이야기만 해도 정리가 되는데, 꾹꾹 눌러 놓아 마음과 몸의 병이 되기도 합니다. 아무 것도 보이지 않는 캄캄한 길에서 그 길을 먼저 간 누군가가 짚어 주는 작은 가리킴에도 길을 찾기도 합니다.
로뎀 사이버 상담실은 선교사와 선교사 자녀들이 하고 싶은 말을 언제든지 어디에서든지 마음껏 이야기할 수 있는 공간입니다. 상담사나 상담을 받으시는 분 모두 익명으로 상담을 진행하며, 상담하는 내용은 반드시 비밀을 보장합니다.
우리의 상담사들Meet Our Counselors
로템 선교사 상담소는 4년 이상의 타문화 선교 경험이 있으며
상담 교육 기관에서 학위나 훈련을 받은 전문 상담사들로 구성되어 있습니다.
이들은 사이버 상담사 교육을 12시간 수료한 뒤,
매달 지도 감독(supervision)을 받으며 마음이 힘든 선교사와 선교사 자녀들을 기다리고 있습니다.
